Leadership transition and future growth of Advito and BCD’s Sustainability programs

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, Sept. 18, 2025 – Olivier Benoit will become managing director of Advito, BCD’s consulting arm, by year-end. In his new role he’ll report to Jennifer Townsend Walley, executive vice president of Customer Success and Corporate Strategy. Beginning Jan. 1, Townsend Walley will also take on leadership of BCD’s Sustainability teams, marking a new chapter in her expanded role.

Benoit brings 30 years of travel industry experience, including 12 years at Advito where he led the global Air and Intelligence & Analytics practices. He was also responsible for developing the strategy and implementation of Advito’s Dynamic Performance Management™ framework for global clients. As managing director, he will continue to drive Advito’s legacy of innovation and excellence.

Townsend Walley, with 27 years’ experience at BCD, will apply her strategic expertise and customer insight to guide the well-established Advito and Sustainability teams. Together, she and Benoit will amplify the impact of their teams and strengthen the ability to deliver exceptional value to clients.

“Jennifer will champion continued success, peak performance and future evolution across the teams,” said BCD’s Global Chief Commercial Officer Mike Janssen. “Jennifer has been a key strategist, consultant and implementer across many areas in the company and always leads with a customer-centric mindset. Together with Olivier at the helm of Advito, clients can continue to count on the innovation and excellence they value.”

This leadership transition follows the departure of April Bridgeman, Advito’s managing director and senior vice president at BCD, who will leave the company at year-end. Over her 22 years with BCD, Bridgeman led groundbreaking initiatives—from launching the first Workforce Management function and TMC-integrated mobile app to creating traveler engagement services, and the sustainability practice at Advito. She now looks forward to a new chapter of personal and professional exploration.

“We’re deeply grateful for April’s visionary leadership and commitment to pushing beyond the status quo to drive growth for BCD, Advito, our talented people and trusted customers,” said Janssen. “Her legacy of growth and innovation will endure.”

Benoit, Bridgeman, and Townsend Walley will collaborate to ensure a smooth transition and continued momentum for current and upcoming initiatives including:

  • An industry-first sustainability solution with a fully configurable offering making it simple to take meaningful steps toward more sustainable business travel.
  • Advito’s AI-enabled data management and analytics platform with new dashboard capabilities focused on actionable insights.
  • Innovation in the areas of Advito, Sustainability and Payments.
