BCD secures 12th win as Most Admired TMC from readers of The Beat

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, Dec. 4, 2024 – A legacy of excellence continues with BCD Travel’s eighth consecutive year and 12^th time total of being recognized as the Most Admired Travel Management Company (TMC) by the BTN Group. Yesterday, BCD accepted the reader’s choice award at the 17^th annual The Beat Live event in New York City. The Beat Live, a one-day corporate travel industry event, featured BCD’s CEO Stephan Baars in a 30-minute on-stage interview with Editor-in-Chief Jay Boehmer.

The 17th Annual The Beat Readers’ Choice Awards were based on a subscriber poll conducted in July and August of 2024 that asked subscribers to choose the most admired TMC along with other categories including technology company, airline, payment company, lodging brand, car rental brand and supplier of the year for its policies, management style and service for business clients. Readers were not allowed to vote for their own organizations.

BCD boasts a client retention rate of 98% and has maintained its position as the TMC serving the most companies in BTN’s Corporate Travel 100 with 35 clients. In a client case study from this year, a Supply Base Manager at a global manufacturer of agricultural machinery was quoted saying “There has not been one minute that we’ve ever questioned if we made the right decision with BCD. We are thankful for this team of rockstars – We are blessed to have BCD Travel as a partner.” ¹

It was given to less than 4% of their top suppliers, whose dedication to delivering best-in-class quality products and services enables Caterpillar to build a better, more sustainable world. 

BCD’s Most Admired TMC recognition closes out a year of other noteworthy accolades including: receiving its fifth consecutive EcoVadis Platinum rating; winning Best TMC and Best Business Travel Center at the European Mission Awards; being recognized as Travel Partner of the Year – Large TMC at the Business Travel Awards Europe 2024; being listed in the Global Top 100 Inspiring Workplaces; Achievement in Sustainability – TMC Award at the Business Travel Sustainability Awards for both Europe and Americas; and the Inclusive Talent & Recruitment Leader of the Year award from the International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum and Awards.
