BCD Travel launches British Airways’ NDC content
UTRECHT, The Netherlands, Nov. 24, 2025 – BCD Travel, a leading travel management company (TMC), announced today the launch of British Airways’ new distribution capability (NDC) content. This marks another milestone for the global TMC in offering airlines’ NDC content.
NDC from 54 airlines are already connected to BCD systems and NDC bookings are currently accounting for up to 65% of traveler itineraries where NDC is enabled. The addition of British Airways to BCD’s program means the TMC will have 22 airlines certified to its release standards and available for customers to book by the end of this year.
BCD’s collaboration with British Airways is part of the TMC’s dedicated strategy to accelerate NDC availability and grow those bookings at scale while giving customers dependable access to comprehensive content. British Airways’ inclusion in BCD’s NDC program gives travelers access to richer content and additional modern retailing options.
“As a global TMC, being able to deliver British Airways’ NDC content is a testament to our strong partnership and collaboration with the British Airways team and our distribution systems partners,” said Thane Jackson, SVP, Global Distribution Strategy & Supplier Management & Delivery at BCD. “We worked together to make sure the British Airways NDC content met our certification criteria and the needs of our corporate customers. We’re very pleased with our long-term collaboration and partnership with British Airways and our ability to offer the best options for travelers.”
Over the past decade BCD has consistently invested millions of dollars each year in its NDC program, recognizing it as a key component of modern retailing and a crucial part of its commerce strategy. BCD’s open platform makes the TMC uniquely equipped to deliver NDC at scale. It combines multi-source content from GDSs, leading aggregators and direct connects. The platform consolidates, normalizes and enriches the content, applies program intelligence, and shares it across both traveler and agent point-of-sale for a simple and streamlined experience.
“We are proud to partner with BCD to bring our NDC content to their customers,” said Colm Lacy, Chief Commercial Officer at British Airways. “This collaboration highlights our commitment to innovation and enhancing the travel experience. NDC enables tailored offers in real-time, delivering an even more seamless, customer-centric shopping experience. Our partnership with BCD is a significant step towards our NDC and modern retailing goals.”
