Meyn Food Processing Technology consolidates global travel program with BCD Travel

Efficiency, savings and duty of care were decisive factors

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, Nov. 16, 2021 – Meyn Food Processing Technology, leading global specialist in poultry processing solutions, has chosen BCD Travel as its single provider to manage its global business travel. Meyn is headquartered in the Netherlands, with thirteen branches worldwide.

Previously, each Meyn branch worked with a separate local travel agency, resulting in a fragmented travel program. To gain efficiency and visibility into total travel spend, the company sought to consolidate its program globally. After a competitive bid process with several travel management companies, Meyn selected BCD as its single business travel provider. The choice allows Meyn to benefit globally from innovative tools that drive efficiency, savings and duty of care. BCD manages all business travel for Meyn in Europe, Asia and the Americas.  

Meyn carefully identified all local requirements in each country to make sure the selected TMC would be the right fit. “We wanted to make sure the local teams in the different markets would benefit from changing to a global provider. We feel BCD travel really listened and proactively came up with local solutions where needed,” explains Meyn’s Travel Manager Raymond Maas, who has recently been nominated for Corporate Travel & Mobility Professional of the Year in the Netherlands.
