BCD Travel’s UK and Ireland Managing Director Claudia Jackson named to ITM Board of Directors

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, May 14, 2026 – BCD Travel’s Managing Director of the U.K. and Ireland, Claudia Jackson, was appointed to the Institute of Travel Management (ITM) Board of Directors on May 3, 2026. Jackson’s role with ITM will complement her leadership at BCD, where she oversees a team dedicated to advancing client interests through high‑quality customer service, innovative technology and a workplace culture grounded in engagement, diversity and equity.

As a supplier board member, Jackson will represent the community on an ITM board intentionally structured to balance buyer and supplier perspectives. Her position at BCD involves travel manager engagement, supplier partnerships, traveler care and operational delivery, which gives her a unique and expansive view of how the industry is evolving in real time. Her expertise in managing complex travel programs and deploying innovative solutions enables her to contribute to board discussions focused on raising service standards, advancing technology adoption and supporting outcomes that ultimately benefit corporate travel buyers and their organizations.

“Serving on the ITM supplier board is a wonderful opportunity to help make sense of the rapid changes in our industry and advance initiatives that genuinely benefit corporate travel programs,” Jackson shared. “By bringing a client-first perspective, I hope to support ITM’s work in strengthening the value the industry delivers to travel managers and their organizations, and its role as a trusted source of education, insight and collaboration.”

Since 1956, ITM has served as the collective voice of the U.K. and Ireland business travel community, bringing buyers and suppliers together to drive progress across the sector. Guided by a board that reflects this balance, the organization focuses on supporting education, shaping best practice and fostering collaboration that strengthens corporate travel programs and the professionals who manage them.

BCD has maintained a strong presence in the U.K. and Ireland since 2006, serving approximately 500 clients across sectors including media and entertainment, financial and professional services, life sciences, automotive and retail. As Europe’s second‑largest business travel market, the region represents a significant growth opportunity for the company. Jackson’s ITM board appointment aligns with BCD’s long‑term strategy to further expand its U.K. footprint by 2030.

“We are delighted to welcome Claudia to the ITM board,” said Scott Davies, chief executive officer at ITM. “Her experience and leadership at BCD align closely with ITM’s mission, and her contribution will help ensure our work continues to reflect the needs of both buyers and suppliers across the business travel ecosystem.”
